About Us

Our Mission Statement

Fair Playhouse is a New York based, ensemble driven theatre program for elementary through high-school age students. Our Saturday Program is a semester-long session offered in the Fall and Spring.

At Fair Playhouse, students have a core class schedule that includes Singing, Acting, and Movement and are provided opportunities through electives to expand their world as theater makers. With classes taught by experienced theatre educators working professionally in their fields, our curricula integrates strategies that consider the young artist in front of us as a whole child.

We invite both students who are new to the theater to explore the art form, along with experienced young actors who are auditioning and preparing for conservatory programs at the college level. Our program is based on the craft and focused on the community.

Testimonials

Olga G., Parent

“(Our child) not only grew as an artist, but she felt at home at the (Fair) Playhouse. She found her identity, her voice, and her community with the help of the teachers. They not only supported her with her training, they created this beautiful community of students who support each other. Fair Playhouse is a very special place.”

Dan B., Parent

"The Fair Playhouse team is just extraordinary. They deliver a rigorous pre-professional theater education for young actors that never loses the fun and the joy of performing."

Elyssa G., Parent

“I can't recommend Fair Playhouse more highly. The work my child did with the exceptional staff led to them getting accepted into the two most competitive performing arts high schools in NYC. Saturdays are my child's favorite day of the week! They've built beautiful relationships with their fellow students as well as the staff. My child is not only a better actor because of Fair Playhouse, they are also a better person.”
